Note that it's more expensive to buy on trip.com vs buying on the counter itself but it might be more convenient given it's denominated in local currency. It's very worth it to buy the card since the attractions covered more than offset the cost of the card. Note you need to go tourist info counter to collect the salzburg card which will be activated only after you visited your first attraction

Everything was great: the organization, the schedule, the punctuality, the friendliness, the castle, the water features! The boat trip was pleasant, the "English" captain was cheerful and entertaining, and the same goes for the ride with Peter in the 1963 double-decker bus. The castle and the water features are well worth a visit; truly impressive. Highly recommended.

Ben was a great guide. We spent enough time ensuring all of us were able to operate the Segway (we were a party of 3 and none of us had used a Segway before) before we began. The tour itself was a lot of fun thanks to Ben and his patience, knowledge of the city, and ability to share information in an entertaining way. We highly recommend this tour!
