It was worthwhile, I would recommend it; the language guidance was also very interesting.

The route was adequate, but boarding took longer than expected. There should be an option to buy snacks on the boat, as drinking the beverage on its own was very unpleasant.

This was amazing. Musicians and dancers killed it and the service was incredibly friendly. As a buffet, it did feel like a free for all when getting food but there was plenty of left over so no one missed out. Bring cash to tip waiter / musicians, they went above and beyond (even playing specific music requests from every table). Shout out to our waiter who was honestly amazing. Kept our glasses full without us even realising it :)

Of everything I've done in Budapest, this was the best experience. The boat's interior is amazing, the service is exemplary, and the prosecco... well, you can imagine! You won't have an empty glass the entire trip.
Reviews: Countryside Half-day Gastro-Wine Tour from Budapest Meal & pickup
Guest User2024-08-28
As someone that work’s in the industry and lives in a prominent wine region in CA I was excited to see and taste this old world region with its unique varieties. We visited 3 wineries with a great dinner at the last. The wines were quite good. The pours were not Napa sized either but more like 1/4 glasses. Mostly white’s. With a few reds like a tasty 2021 Pinot noir from its Hungarian oak barrel. And a new variety for the region - Syrah. The wine makers were happy to share their knowledge about fermentation, yeast, harvest bird, crush techniques etc. Wines were available for purchase and I just wish I could have taken home some of wines. Dinner was great. By the end of the tour the whole group had become friends. Well crafted wines. Do it. !!

Excellent boat ride service through the Danube river in Budapest. The ride left right on time and very professional on site staff. Very good loading dock. Recommended.
