Itinerary
The mountain bike tour to Coroico starts early in the morning from the city of La Paz. Then you go by transport to “La Cumbre” (1 hour from La Paz), which is the starting point, at 4,700 meters above sea level. ROUTE DESCRIPTION Stage 1: It is a 22 km descent by paved road. At the police checkpoint (after 45 min.) all tourists pay Bs. 50 for the entrance to the national park. This first part of the ride is for you to get used to the bike. Don't worry, the security van is always behind the group and we have stops for water, photos and inspection of the bike. Stage 2: “Death Road” of about 10 km. always in a compact group (safety first!!!) and also time for a snack with chocolate, fruit and much more. Stage 3: About 32 km, starting with a dip in a waterfall! Finally, the end of the ride is in Yolosa, so the next stop is at a hotel with showers, swimming pool and also lunch. At approximately 05:00 pm it is time to return to La Paz driving on the new road. BIKE DESCRIPTION Full suspension bike equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, designed to offer superior performance in all types of terrain. Available in two versions: single suspension and dual suspension, the latter being an option of greater comfort and control (additional cost). Ideal for cyclists looking for a smoother and safer experience on their routes.
