Important Notes

• This card can be used for payment at designated convenience stores, food courts, or vending machines, etc., without needing to use cash.
• Staff can provide assistance services for passengers with disabilities.
• When topping up, please place your Octopus card on the Octopus card reader until you hear a "beep" and see the transaction complete and balance displayed before removing it. If the transaction cannot be completed because the Octopus card was moved too quickly, please place it on the same machine again.
• Do not place more than one Octopus card or other contactless smart card on the Octopus card reader at the same time.
• Do not alter the Octopus card in any way, including bending, writing on, scratching, cutting, or attaching stickers, photos, or other decorations. Otherwise, transactions made with the card will not be recognized, and the remaining balance will not be refunded.
• If you book a rental Octopus card, a HKD 50 deposit is required for each Octopus card upon redemption. Upon return, staff will refund the deposit and the card balance, and each card will incur a charge ofservice fee
• If the Octopus card balance is zero or negative, the card cannot be used until it is topped up.
• You can top up your Octopus card via the Octopus App or with cash at thousands of locations across Hong Kong (7-Eleven, OK Convenience Store, Abundance, McDonald's, VanGO Convenience Store, Watsons, Mannings, etc.).
• You can get a cash refund for the unused balance on your card at any MTR station (excluding Airport Express counters).
