Reviews: Koh Samui Departure: Pig Island & Tean Island Snorkeling Experience|Upgrade to a pink dolphin encounter
Guest User2026-01-27
What a great trip! We were picked up from our hotel 15 minutes before our scheduled pickup time and taken to the boat station. Soft drinks were provided on the boat. Before reaching the island, we stopped for snorkeling. The island itself is beautiful, and the pigs are adorable. The guide was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. We took the afternoon excursion and stopped on the way back to watch the sunset from the water. Before leaving, we had lunch at the station, a small buffet with several dishes.
Reviews: Mojito Sailing Boat Fleet: Snorkeling and Sea Fishing Experience at Racha Yai Island, Coral Island, and Promthep Cape

Choosing the Mojito this time was definitely the right decision. We had a Chinese-speaking guide named Rainbow, and Nick, the photographer, took pictures the whole time. The service was fantastic. The catamaran is relatively slow and stable, so my wife and daughter, who were worried about seasickness before departure, had a great time. The furthest we went was just over an hour before we reached the shore, so we didn't have to worry about seasickness. In the morning, a minibus was arranged to pick up four groups of guests from the hotel before heading to the pier. A simple breakfast and itinerary introduction were provided at the pier, followed by boarding the boat. Free iced water and cold drinks were available on board. The first stop was Coral Island for photos and optional water sports activities. Afterwards, a tractor-trailer ride took us to a restaurant for a simple buffet lunch on Racha Island. Then, we enjoyed snorkeling and water slides on Racha Island. At Racha Island, there was also an optional scuba diving experience with oxygen tanks. While snorkeling, feeding the fish with small bread rolls and biscuits attracted a swarm of fish, which my daughter, who had never snorkeled before, thoroughly enjoyed. Our Chinese-speaking guide, Rainbow, provided excellent service. Everyone's snorkel mouthpiece was brand new, and there was no pressure to spend money. The itinerary was relaxed and comfortable. A photographer accompanied the entire group throughout the day, also a free service. The return trip from Racha Island included a fishing experience. The entire trip ended around 7:20 PM, and then shuttle buses took each group back to the hotel, arriving around 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM. I wrote this much because I didn't see any complete reviews of the itinerary beforehand. I hope it can help tourists who want to go island hopping. I would definitely choose a catamaran cruise again next time. It's very relaxing and I don't get seasick. I would also ask Rainbow Guide to help me arrange the boat again, since he's not based in Mojito. A good guide really enhances the whole experience. I hope everyone has a great time.
