The day trip to Hongcun and Xidi was a wonderful experience. Our guide, He Yun, was warm, attentive, and provided highly professional explanations. She gave us a great understanding of Huizhou culture and Hui-style architecture. The driver was also very smooth, and the entire trip was very satisfying. Most importantly, the blue bricks, gray tiles, and white walls of Huizhou exude a graceful charm, offering a different kind of beauty compared to Suzhou and Hangzhou. Although it was cloudy and drizzling, the lake reflected everything clearly like a mirror. The misty, rainy Jiangnan region had a unique charm. Including folk performances like the fish lantern dance, it was truly a very satisfying trip.★
