The bus was very quick and took only 5 hours to Hanoi Noi Bai airport, including two stops for rest.

The seats were spacious, but the driving was rough and it was hard to fall asleep. The air conditioning worked well, so it's a good idea to bring a jacket. There were complaints about crickets in the lower berths, so I recommend reserving an upper berth. Note that there are no toilets.
