What an amazing experience! I loved Heraklion and this tour helped me get acclimated (and filled my tummy). My host was amazing and took me all over the city center. There was plenty of food and wine - you will get your money's worth. Easy to book, great food, communications were excellent, highly recommend.

The buses are quite old, and it's rather confusing that the yellow bus doesn't automatically follow the yellow line, and the red one doesn't automatically follow the red line. However, the ticket is valid for all lines (red, yellow, blue). I wasn't aware of that, but it's a great feature. Anyone with the time should definitely take these tours at least once. The audio guide worked very well for us. I could have done without the background music, though. A display on the bus showing the next stop would be fantastic. The drivers are sometimes difficult to understand, especially if you're listening to the audio guide.

If you want to get to know Heraklion up close, then this tour is highly recommended. The small e-bike makes navigating the entire city effortless. The mini bikes really shine in the narrow alleys and streets. And when you're led by a knowledgeable guide like Alexios, who grew up in Heraklion, you learn a great deal about the city. You can also taste Heraklion at the markets and then during the meze lunch. Highly recommended!

Alex was a great host and guide. He made sure we had proper directions to get to his place and started on time. We then hopped on our eco-bikes and toured the city with Alex filling in details about the history of the city. We finished the tour back at his place with a nice mezze.
