Wow 🤩 😮🤯😱 I started to write this really great review because Nick was an amazing guide and driver for this trip. Then the Trip.com app decided to close out on me. It was really good to do the Tuk Tuk version of the Tour even though it was a very hot day. Nick had waters and brews for us. Also, he was able to modify the tour a bit according to our needs (I was a solo traveler with a UK couple). Everything to our own needs was very much appreciated. There’s no words to explain the locality and depth we saw and experienced of the capital city of Cambodia.  I don’t wanna share too many photos because I think it’s important. Everyone takes in to their own perspectives. Bring Cash, Be ready to filter energy, and carry some snacks in case the weather is new to you. Extra stops were taken to enjoy knowledge of new developments with partnering countries.★

Our guide, Net, was excellent. He’s extremely knowledgeable of the history of Cambodia and made our tour memorable with stories from his own family. The royal palace was excellent, and the Cambodian Genocide Museum was overwhelming. Net got us a table at the Banana Tree Restaurant for a lovely Cambodian lunch. He took us to the Central Market for some last minute shopping. In the 95° heat we decided not to go to the Killing Fields. Net was an excellent guide!★

I had a great time on the Half-Day Phnom Penh City Tour and would absolutely recommend it.
My tour guide, Kakada, was fantastic. His English was excellent, he had a great sense of humor, and he was genuinely friendly and easy to talk to. He made the tour both informative and enjoyable, and did a great job explaining Cambodia’s culture as well as its complicated and emotional history. The driver was also great, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
The only constructive feedback I’d share is about the tour information itself, and this isn’t a reflection on my guide at all. It wasn’t totally clear in the description that you’re supposed to choose between a cultural-themed tour or a genocide-themed tour, since the itinerary seems to list all sites together but in other places it says you need to choose between the two option. That said, Kakada was very flexible and let me choose a mix of both, and I was able to pick four attractions, which worked out perfectly.
There was also a small pickup confusion. The *** listing said there were only two pickup points, so I took a Grab to one of the hotels, but later found out hotel pickup and drop-off was actually possible. Again, not a big deal, and more of a clarity issue on the tour company’s side than anything else.
Overall, this was a really informative and enjoyable tour. Kakada and the driver did an excellent job showing me Phnom Penh, its culture, and its history. Highly recommended!

This was one of the best organized tours I’ve had in recent years of solo travel.
The visit to the Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) is powerful and emotionally intense. If you want to understand modern Cambodian history and what the local people have endured, this tour is essential.
Miss Chesda was an exceptional guide. She speaks fluent English and combines deep historical knowledge with personal insight and empathy. Her storytelling was vivid and moving, not just a list of facts, and she answered every question thoughtfully and clearly. She also has a subtle, well-timed sense of humor.
The tour was perfectly organized and ran on time. Note: the exhibition includes human remains and graphic photographs, so emotionally sensitive visitors should consider this.
Overall, absolutely worth visiting.
