There was quite a commotion because I lost my camera, but I was so grateful to our guide for going around everywhere with me to look for it and asking around, even though they couldn't even enjoy a relaxing lunch. Although we couldn't find the camera in the end... the people in the same group brought us snacks, so it didn't feel like a miserable day. It is a truly fulfilling tour that runs from morning until late at night. Every place was great, but the place where we stargazed at night is the most memorable. The stars were pouring down, almost enough to see the Milky Way! Since there are so many wonderful places and the travel distances are long, I think it is a good idea to spend at least one day in Dunhuang on a tour like this.★

I was so lucky to meet our driver, Dorje, on this trip to Shangri-La! His driving was smooth and safe throughout, the route was perfectly planned, and he patiently explained the sights and local stories along the way. He took us horseback riding at Napa Lake, to the prayer wheels at Dukezong Ancient Town, and to Tiger Leaping Gorge to see the magnificent river. The timing was perfect. He even proactively helped us with our luggage and found good photo spots. He's incredibly kind and reliable, and I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Northwest Yunnan!Trip.com Picks
