The driver-guide cannot accompany you into attractions but will provide guide services in the vehicle. Overtime fee beyond 10 hrs is €50/hr.
For vehicles with 19 seats or more, only driver service is provided. If you need to add a Chinese-speaking guide, please inquire before placing your order. Vehicles with 19+ seats have a daily working duration of 9 hrs, and each guest is required to pay 4 EUR in gratuities per day. Please be aware of this before booking.
Mafra is located approximately 40 km from downtown Lisbon. The Mafra Palace, also known as the Palace of Mafra and the Royal Building of Mafra, is a massive Baroque and Neoclassical palace-monastery. It was constructed in 1717 under the leadership of King John V of Portugal and was fully completed in 1755.
Designated as a National Historic Monument in 1910, it was also a finalist for Portugal's Seven Wonders. On July 7, 2019, the Mafra Royal Building complex—comprising the Palace, Basilica, Monastery, Cerco Garden, and Hunting Park—was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
