Overall good experience but would be better if price is lower. According to itinerary except the Hanwu, Xiongfeng sculpture site was under reconstruction. The picked up from hotel was 8.15am and dropped off at hotel was 7pm. The duration was shorter than stated in the itinerary. Driver, 王师傅 service was excellent.

There was quite a commotion because I lost my camera, but I was so grateful to our guide for going around everywhere with me to look for it and asking around, even though they couldn't even enjoy a relaxing lunch. Although we couldn't find the camera in the end... the people in the same group brought us snacks, so it didn't feel like a miserable day. It is a truly fulfilling tour that runs from morning until late at night. Every place was great, but the place where we stargazed at night is the most memorable. The stars were pouring down, almost enough to see the Milky Way! Since there are so many wonderful places and the travel distances are long, I think it is a good idea to spend at least one day in Dunhuang on a tour like this.

The show was still fun~ and you have to tip for the front seats close to the stage. Don't expect much from the buffet, and try not to eat the sushi at the buffet. I ate that and had diarrhea all night long, and I had diarrhea until the morning, so I had to take medicine and it was a mess. But I still couldn't stop eating.

We quickly cleared customs and passport control without any lines. The staff on both sides explained everything, guided us, and helped us. We even got a refund of the HKD 200 departure tax in Hong Kong.


