Excellent, lively and knowledgeable driver cum guide Bunty who not only shared immensely useful
Information but kept us entertained through his anecdotes and engaging conversations. Went out of the way to give us unique experience of visiting the swinging bridge and accommodated a request to visit a friend to say hello and yet kept the time. Given the start was very early, he ensured that we have brief stop for coffee and snack before heading out to first of the two engagements for the day. This itself made the visit memorable additional to visit to glow worm caves and visit to Geysers and sumptuous lunch. Overall a fantastic trip…Kudos to FlexiToursNZ who kept their words of keeping the vehicle suited for small group with comfortable seats.★

Such a great trip! Grant (or Grant but in a kiwi accent) was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the culture and history during the long van rides. Glowworm caves were cool but the highlight for me was definitely the geysers. The whole experience was great and am so grateful that they offer a trip like this including transport since Rotorua is quite a distance away.
Note: this experience did not include a Māori performance or haka. If I read the description better I wouldve known that but that is the only thing I was a little bummed about. The experience is great, but just note what is actually included if thats what you are looking for.★

This was a great tour. The only day that worked for our itinerary was New Year’s Eve, which wasn’t ideal. But our guide, David, was very engaging and super knowledgeable. He shared so much interesting info about New Zealand as a whole, and the specific areas were passing through - history, geography, culture, people, etc. I really can’t say enough positive things about him. The tour ran very smoothly in spite of the heavy rain, and we made it back to Auckland with plenty of time to have a quick dinner and ring in the new year at the sky tower. Highly recommend!★

Our day trip to Rotorua and the Maori Village was tons of fun. Our guide, Jason, was fabulous! Full of information and extremely accommodating, continually making sure we were all okay. He kept us apprised about the schedule and what to expect next and how to meet back up with him. The Maori Village Tour was also excellent. Our guide, Phillip, was very humorous and taught us a great deal about the Maori history and culture. Included in the village tour was a full Haka and other performances that were very informative and entertaining. It was all very pleasurable. Although we had already experienced the Waiotapu Wonderland and the fabulous Redwood Treewalk separately, I'm sure they were fun as part of this tour as well. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting experience Rotorua and learn about the Maori.
