酥油花馆位于塔尔寺景区里面，是塔尔寺的三宝之一，非常值得去看看，由于不能拍照这里就放几张塔尔寺照片。要制作酥油花必须在非常冷的天才可以，制作酥油花的匠人需要把手浸泡在冰水中以控制手温，很值得敬佩这些匠人的精神。酥油花馆保存了每年比赛的作品，全部空调恒温保存。

酥油花是一种用酥油（黄油）塑形像物的特殊技艺，它是“塔尔寺三绝”（酥油花、壁画、堆绣）之一。早在 2006年，塔尔寺酥油花就经国务院批准列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。现在塔尔寺建成了专门的酥油花馆，馆内陈列着各种颜色和造型设计精美的酥油花制品，并且对这一技艺的历史文化有相关介绍，参观酥油花馆，对于了解这一古老的非物质文化遗产有很大帮助。

酥油花是塔尔寺的“艺术三绝”之一，它是用酥油作原料造出的各种佛像、人物、山水、亭台楼阁、飞禽走兽、花卉树木等艺术精品。每年农历正月十五展出时，由民族管乐器为主组成的花架乐队演奏出节奏缓稳、庄严肃穆的花架音乐乐曲，来烘托宗教气氛，并随着灯光的闪动；在含蓄典雅的音乐中，展示出酥油花雕塑的群体千姿百态。塔尔寺酥油花集雕塑艺术之大成，不仅具有很高的艺术水平和独特的艺术风格，而且规模宏大壮观，内容丰富多彩。
