World Seashell Museum Review

Jeju Island has many "museums" that can be squeezed from tourists. Most are silly artificial museums, with no connection to Jeju or even South Korea. It is a sin to spend time in these museums on Jeju Island rather than enjoying the scenery outdoors. But if you are in the Seogwipo area and have an hour of leisure, I recommend you visit the Shell Museum. After a woman's pay-off, this place has beautiful shells from all over the world, all carefully crafted into beautiful exhibits. The shells are so beautiful, it's hard to believe they are real but they are. There is also a small shop that can buy souvenirs if you want, but they won't force you to consume. There is also a cafe. Just near the bus stop.
