As a Chengdu person who experienced the 512 earthquake, I passed here many times. I didn't expect to visit here. This time I took the children to pass by Yingxiu and came to see it.

The Wenchuan Museum, built in only 139 days after the earthquake, has become a landmark in the county. The museum is located on the central axis of Wenchuan County. On the third floor of the exhibition hall, I have already posted photos one after another. A place worth seeing. Wenchuan County is a good place.

Wenchuan Museum was designed by He Jingtang, the designer of the China Pavilion of the Shanghai Expo, and started construction on November 1, 2009, and completed on March 20, 2010. The total construction area is 9071 square meters, with a total investment of about 64.6 million yuan. The library and the book shopping center function as one, the building group plane is L-shaped, the enclosed space becomes an open square for public activities, reflecting the humanized design of public opening, and coordinating with the central axis square, and greatly reducing the interference and impact of existing buildings around. In September 2018, it was designated a national third-level museum.

A good place to understand Wenchuan's history and culture has benefited a lot.

The first floor of Wenchuan Museum is a photo exhibition on the Wenchuan earthquake. The second floor is the history and culture of the Yi people. The colorful pottery remnants unearthed at the Jiang Weicheng site, and the precious cultural relics such as the Neolithic double ear cans unearthed in the burial of the sarcophagus are enough to explain the resonance and collision of this unyielding ethnic group with Chinese history. The third floor exhibition is the result of Guangdong's assistance in building Wenchuan.
