The St. George campus is located in downtown Toronto, with a large campus and free to visit. The other two campuses are Scarborough and Mississauga. Built in 1827, the architecture is simple and elegant, and Harry Potter has been photographed here. The University of Toronto has a world-class library system, and its publishers have far-reaching influence in Canada and even across North America. As a small number of remaining college federal universities in North America, in addition to the conventional structure, the University of Toronto has 12 undergraduate colleges, each with different history and characteristics, enjoying a large degree of independent financial and management rights.
