This area has become a hot spot for food. Sportello is a great option. Casual decor and loud but fun. The pastas are excellent. The starters are best had through a selection.

#Ctrip Food Forest # Sportello is an Italian restaurant located near Boston Harbor. The restaurant is decorated mainly in white, simple and modern. I ordered four dishes in total. The roasted green pepper tastes average, the spicy tomato soup does not feel spicy, and the olive oil is placed inside, which tastes very strange. The main course of seared scallops and black garlic papparoelle pasta is highly recommended. The scallops are very fresh and tender. The mushrooms and beef in the Italian pasta are also very rich and especially delicious.

Sportello, the Italian restaurant, is very exquisite, colorful, and the taste is also sour and sweet. It is also a South European style. It can feel the enthusiasm of Italy. It is quite interesting.

4/5Excellent
I've been here 3-4 times over the past year and I've always found the food incredible. My staples are the burrata and Tagliatelle bolognese. The pasta is always fresh and perfectly cooked and the burrata paired with flavorful accompaniments that make it special (although a small portion). The restaurant has an open kitchen along the left wall as you enter and you can sit either at conventional tables or along a rectangular bar that looks in on the chefs preparing your food. The food and the physical space makes this a great restaurant for a date, family night out or a business meeting. Yet, there is an accompanying attitude of epicurean arrogance that I have encountered during every visit. It's an attitude that seems to rob the restaurant of the welcoming vibe that is often associated with Italian food as a family affair. And maybe that's to be expected when Italian goes urban chic, but for me it isn't necessary and prevents me from visiting with greater frequency.

Our first dinner in Boston for a family vacation and it served as a talking point. I had tortellini with artichoke and it was outstanding. Others had the braised rabbit and gnocchi. All were top quality and among the tastiest meals in recent history. What went wrong: the service and the portions. While I don't advocate a cheap bowl of pasta that tries to impress you with size, this meal went too far in the other direction. My entree had five pieces of tortellini. My fellow diners faced the same underwhelming bowls. Combined with inattentive service, I'm not sure if I would return.
