Songpan is an important historical memorial. During the Qing Xianfeng years, the tax was heavy, and the Songpan Yi heroines could do it, leading the Tibetan and Yi people to hold an anti-Qing uprising. Songpan is also an important historical memorial site for the revolution. The Red Army held five important meetings on the way to the Long March, including two (Shawo Conference, Maoergai Conference) held in Songpan. Since ancient times, Songpan has been a key town on the border of the soldiers.
