If the Pena Palace is a castle full of fairy tales, then the Regalera Manor is the comic, the wizard's second world ~ as the "millionaire Monteiro's palace", the manor incorporates Roman, Gothic, Renaissance and Manuel styles. The exquisite carving details are even more the owner's exquisiteness of life on the public screen~ In addition to the impressive buildings, the moss-covered ancient trees and the stone castle camp are in each other, full of mystery, as if you can cross back to medieval Europe in a second, Just take a shot is the castle wind that can be seen in the movie~ The popularity of the manor is not accidental, and the absolute success of Shenyujing Initiatic Well is indispensable! The design of the 9-story spiral ladder symbolizes the 9 cycles of heaven, hell, and purgatory depicted by Dante. From the bottom of the well, it seems that the ring can approach heaven. Because of this, the reputation of the "nine-story demon tower" in Sakai is not bad. No wonder some people say that if you want to atone for sin, wash away all iniquity. Then walk a few more laps around the well ~ Knock on the blackboard details: Lega Laila Manor (Quinta da Regaleira): R. 4/5Excellent

Sintra is always filled with tourist. It's that kind of place. So if you have an aversion to crowds, then the Quinta da Regaleira might not be your cup of tea. That being said, we found this estate mind-blowing in terms of both architecture and history. It is a UNESCO listed world heritage site that looks as if it's right out of a fairy tale. Tickets can be bought at the gate. Water bottle, camera, and flat-soled comfortable shoes are a necessity. You will do a lot of walking as the estate not only contains buildings but also gardens. We spent at least three hours here and loved every minute.
