The Orsay Museum is a museum on the left bank of the Seine in Paris, France. It is located in the former Orsay railway station (Gare d'Orsay), which was built between 1898 and 1900 at Beaux-Arts railway station. The museum is mainly preserved in French art works from 1848 to 1914, including paintings, sculptures, furniture and photography. Many of these works were exhibited at the National Gallery before the museum opened in 1986. This is one of the largest art museums in Europe.
