Some historians believe that half of Guizhou's history of the Republic of China is the family history of Xingyi Liu, Wang and He. Liu's Manor is also the largest "tunbao"-style complex in China. This time I came to Xingyi and visited Liu's Manor. Xingyi Liu's Manor (Yongkangbao) is located in Xiawutun, south of Xingyi City, covering an area of 70 mu, consisting of 13 courtyards of the size of a combination of Chinese and Western, built in the Qing Jiaqing period, Xianfeng Tongzhi period began to take shape. In Xingyi, turn from Manor Road to Manor Road, and then turn right. A stone wall surrounded the Tuenbao display. The Tuenbao gate sits south to north. The front door has three big words "Yongkangbao". This is the manor of the famous Guizhou warlord Liu Xianshi family in the late Qing Dynasty and early Minzhu. At present, it has become the largest private manor in Guizhou Province. The Liu family has started in Guizhou for two dynasties and four generations, and the official is so big that it sits in the position of the governor and governor of Guizhou. The manor is 360 meters long from the north to the south and 130 meters wide from the east to the west. It covers an area of 70 mu. It consists of 13 courtyard houses of Chinese and Western size. The scale is very large. It is the largest Tunbao-style complex in China. The owner of Liu's Manor is mainly Liu Xianshi and Liu Xianqian brothers. Liu Xianshi was the deputy commander of the Guizhou Governor and the deputy commander of the three provinces of Sichuan and Shanghai in the early years of the Republic of China. Liu Xianqian was the commander of the guerrilla army, the commander of the Guizhou patrol, the commander of the defense of the country, and the director of the border affairs office of Shanghai. The two brothers were very powerful at that time, and with the continuous growth of the Liu family and the improvement of financial resources, the scale of the manor building was constantly expanded. The manor is magnificent and the main building has basically maintained its original appearance. After so many years, there are wars and civil unrest during this period... or the preservation of such a complete manor, which is rare in Guizhou and even in China. The park has existing Zhongyixuan, Shuzhai, Liu Xianqian living room, Jiamiao, artillery building and other buildings, the courtyard is relatively scattered, and the courtyard is connected, with the architectural characteristics of typical southern houses in the Qing Dynasty. The house is decorated with stone carvings, wood carving patterns, and many text notes, which have a certain artistic appreciation value.
