The Memorial Hall of the Resistance and Aid to the DPRK is a special memorial hall that reflects the history of the Chinese people's war against the United States and the movement of the Resistance and Aid to the DPRK. The memorial is located on Yinghua Mountain on the banks of the Yalu River in Dandong City, Liaoning Province, across the river from Xinyi City, Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The memorial was built in October 1958 and opened on July 27, 1993. The Memorial Park of the Anti-US Assistance to the DPRK covers an area of 18.2 10,000 square meters, consisting of memorial halls, memorial towers, panoramic painting halls, and defense education parks, and contains more than 20,000 anti-US Assistance to the DPRK cultural relics.
