宜兰是一个山清水秀的地方，盛产水稻。这里又是温泉之乡，从台北驱车穿过13公里长的雪山隧道，就可看到宜兰大片绿油油的水稻田，很多台北人经常来此泡温泉。宜兰的礁溪，是台湾知名的温泉风景区。城市很小，但一条街上温泉汤屋鳞次节比。台湾人称泡温泉为“泡汤”，我们来到礁溪长荣凤凰酒店内的汤屋泡汤，这里温馨典雅又非常私密。1-2人的单间，从休息室洗手间到汤池，所需物品一应俱全，泡完汤还能美美地睡上一觉，或躺在床上看电视，对放松身心、解除疲劳实在是一帖好药。与阳明山的硫磺温泉不同，礁溪温泉属碳酸氢钠泉，泉色清透无味，水温60度左右，可饮可浴。泡完温泉后只感觉精神矍铄，皮肤光洁细腻滑爽。
