Holyrood Park Review

Just near the Holly Luther Palace, the park used to be a hunting ground for the King of Scotland. It has many hills, lakes, canyons and basalt cliffs, providing a spectacular highland view.

Hollywood Park is a public garden beside the famous Hollywood Palace. The scenery here is very good. Back to Carlton Hill, you can see a panoramic view of the famous King Arthur's throne in front of it. The park is shaded with trees, has a large lawn, lies here in the sun, and has a wonderful picnic with family and friends.

It's really tiring to climb this mountain, but when you climb the highest peak of Arthur's throne, you can see the city landscape including Edinburgh and even the snow mountain in the north. Recommend 2h-2.5h in the afternoon. You're in good health.

Because of jet lag, I got up early and went out before I could sleep. I got up at 5 o'clock and went shopping. I started from the hotel along the Royal Mile, through the Parliament Building, the Queen's Palace, Swan Lake, and returned to the Queen's Palace Park.

Hollywood Park is a big mountain near the centre of Edinburgh. We took a two-hour hike in the park. It's a great view, but the bathrooms were closed when we went there. There are more than one way to reach Arthur's seat, and climbers may call it Mole Hill.
