Harbin Grand Theatre is designed by Ma Yansong and MAD Architectural Firm, inspired by the ice and snow style of Beiguo, the exterior surface of the building is specially made pure white aluminum plate, the exterior design of the special hyperbolic surface, and some walls also use white stone and concrete. It gives people a pure feeling of ice and snow, but its architectural facade is not absolutely smooth but faintly has rows of dot-like protrusions. The cleverness of this design is to give the cold silver-gray metal building vitality, far from looking like human skin, The theater has a breath-taking feel.
