Gumulan Yard Shita Review

Built in the Tang Dynasty, the five-level and six-sided stone tower, originally in the ancient magnolia courtyard, is now located in the green space of the newly opened Wenchang Road Street. The stone tower has 26 relief Buddha statues, which have Tang Dynasty style. A ginkgo on the side of the tower is a famous ancient tree in Yangzhou, with a thousand years of history. Shita Temple is located on the green island of Shita Road, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Shita Temple was originally outside the west gate of Yangzhou, the ancient temple of the Jin Dynasty, and the famous Meng Yinxianqing Temple. The 17th year of the Song Dynasty Yuanjia (440 years) was changed to Huizhao Temple (Izuo Huizhao Temple). Tang Congenian Yuan Year (712) changed its name to Anguo Temple, Qianyuan Middle (758-778) began to change its name to "Mulan Courtyard", opened for three years (838), and the Buddha was built in Mulan Courtyard, built a stone tower, and the stone tower temple was renamed. During the Jiaxi period of the Southern Song Dynasty (1237-1240), it was built on the current site, and Baodi Zhong Jia Sidao was rebuilt. During the Ming Chongxuan period (1628-1644), the monk Sanmingxi built the temple and the tower and built the nine Buddhas. In the 47 years of Qing Kangxi (1708), the monk Fusheng rebuilt, and built the Dabei Pavilion and the Shijie Temple. In the seven years of the Zheng (1729), the old "Ancient Mulan Courtyard" was restored by Lu Zhaoxu in Zhixian County. In Xianfeng three years (1853), the temple was destroyed in the army and fire, but the stone tower, the altar and the Ming Dynasty teak building still exist.
