Gongbei Port Review

From the main gate to Macau from China, there is a very large underground shopping mall in front of the gate, there are railway stations and bus stations next to it, the traffic is very convenient, and there are many hotels nearby, enough to deal with the huge passengers.

Gongbei Port is located in the southeast of Zhuhai City, adjacent to Macau, and connected by land road to Macau. In 2011, it surpassed Luohu Port to become the more prosperous city of Zhuhai. Gongbei is a national port, the customs was established in the year to the area's landmark arch bridge (the former site is next to the Zhuhai Shuiwan Road Bay Hotel) and the Beiling "North" word named Gongbeiguan. Since then, the name of Gongbei has been used to this day.

Gongbei Port is located at No. 3 Qiaoguang Road, Gongbei, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, close to Zhuhai Railway Station. Gongbei Port is the only way to go to the Macao Special Administrative Region by land, and it is also the most convenient passage to the Macao Special Administrative Region. After the Gongbei Port, you can reach Macau in less than 200 meters, which is very fast and convenient.

We went to gongbei port on October 2nd. It was extremely busy. It means Long queues. I suggest travellers to fill in the online entry/exit health declaration card beforehand (for entering macau). It was in Chinese. Thankfully a staff helped us to complete the form. It took us about 10 minutes to complete it. On our way back, entering China took us a lot of time. At immigration, Foreigners are required to complete the arrival card. This again slowed us down. Next time I will plan my trip carefully when travelling with kids.

This is the walking passage between Zhuhai and Macau. You can see Macau people coming to Zhuhai to buy vegetables, eat, massage, live. It is very famous.
