Former Residence of Gu Weijun Review

Gu Weiting, a famous figure in the Beiyang period, is known as the "first diplomat of the Republic of China". Shaochuan, a man from Jiading District, Shanghai, was born in Guangxu 14 years (1888), and studied at Columbia University in the United States in the early years. He was a doctoral student in law. 1922～ In 1926, he was the foreign affairs chief, finance chief, and acting prime minister of the state of the Beiyang government. The former residence on Tianjin Five Avenues was purchased by Gu Weiting in 1927 under the name of Gu Shaochuan in the British Concession Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and the city of 2.058, and was built into a three-story Western classical-style building with basement. Mixed structure, wooden house ridge, second and third floors with platforms, the whole building equipment is exquisite, a total of 45 buildings, two bungalows, construction area of more than 1,400 square meters. This former residence is located in Hebei Road, Heping District, Tianjin City. It was built in 1927. It is a classical Western style building with three-storey brick-concrete structure. There is a pair of Baroque twist styles in front of the door. It is very good.
