The old Bank of Hong Kong and Shanghai Nagasaki Branch was originally a branch of HSBC Nagasaki, and the entire building was completed in 1904. It was the only foreign bank west of Kobe, Japan at that time. It was opened as a memorial hall in 1996, mainly introducing the history of Nagasaki Port.
