Bao Dai Summer Palace 3 Review

Beautiful palace! Historic landmark! I have visited this palace during my one week trip to Nha Trang and Dalat. Recommended!

They have free guides to explain its history, just register at the table near the entrance of Baoda Summer Palace. There are many architects in the house. Although built from 1933 to 1938, everything looks great. The gardens here are beautiful. If you want to know about the last emperors of Vietnam, come here. It’s a nice place to escape the busy city for a few hours and visit the palace and beautiful gardens. We had lunch there (fair price) and coffee. It is a tourist style with Vietnamese and French atmosphere. The house is like a normal villa with many old photos. Tickets only cost VND 40,000.

The Baoda Summer Palace is located in the north of Dagu City and is a well-known landmark of Dagu. A garden villa full of French style, light yellow two-story building. Although the area is small, the environment is beautiful. Flowers are blooming and green around.

This palace was built in 1933 and is a summer resort for the last emperor of Vietnam. The palace is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Although the exterior is not impressive, the interior decoration is full of luxury shields. The whole Summer Palace is a walled courtyard, a light yellow flat-roofed masonry structure of the second floor, clear and concise lines. Indoor equipment, including furniture and bedding, is in good condition. In 1926, Ruan Fucheng took office and was the last emperor of the Ruan Dynasty. After 1954, Baoda settled in Paris for a long time, although he still had the title of "Head of State". In 1955, Wu Tingyan, a pro-American prime minister appointed by him, announced that he would cancel his title and become president of the South. Baoda died in Paris in 1997 and was buried in France, ending a long apartment life at the age of 84. There are two toilets in the bathroom next to the large bedroom of the Xinggong Palace. One is for ordinary use, the other is for flushing. In the early 1950s, this was undoubtedly quite advanced. In a hall on the first floor, you can wear the dress of the emperor or queen to take pictures.

It's a good place for those who want to take a slow break on a nice day. It's an old building, but the quality of the building is excellent and the items are well stored. In the high area, I took a break with the fresh air and took a glimpse of Vietnam's history.

Generally speaking, it's worth seeing. It's like the summer resort of Bao Dai, the last emperor of Vietnam. The place is really cool. The pattern of the palace is a little like that of Singapore in the 1970s.

The entrance fee is not expensive. If you have a chance, try to visit.
