The term “atas” in “atas cafe” has its own simple history, but meaningful. As its name suggests, “atas” means “upper” where the restaurant is located on the upper storey of other shops. It implies that people will have to go upstairs to experience the feeling of dining in on the upper-storey cafe while enjoying the view of Tanah Merah town. This cafe has been my favorite spot for hangouts and celebrating birthdays. The design of the cafe is really cozy, aesthetic and great for an ootd spot. My favorite dish here would be their buttermilk chicken rice and pomodoro spaghetti and they also serve coffee at reasonable price. Their cafe opens at 12pm to 10pm. Go give this cafe a try guys! If you’re hunting a Japanese food, you might wanna give a shot here. As for me, the first thing i would like to discover is absolutely Ramen! However, it’s hard to find a nice Ramen with the perfect broth. Mostly, the broth is salty and overrated. But here, it’s consider good because it gives you a nice taste of Japan. Not too similar as Japan original ramen, but worth to try. The menu is pretty standard with reasonable price. They provide many flavours. I chose Spicy Chicken Ramen and Kyutsu Chicken Ramen. Located on top of 2nd floor in the small city of Tanah Merah, named Atas Cafe. Well, I should repeat it next time to try another menu. It's one of my lepak for ideas , study and listening 🎧 to podcast area for now when I back to here and having some discussion. The ambiance are nice. Usually, by noon, there will be a lot of people. You have to pay RM3 as entrance fee per car. It is worth visiting.. Very interesting family recreation center and suitable for all ages .. Historic location of the Guillemard Bridge viewpoint. This park was jointly developed by the Tanah Merah District Council and the National Landscape Department.
