I was inspired by the setting of a skiing movie that was a big hit in Japan in 1987, so I drove from Nagano to Gunma over Shibu Pass, the highest mountain pass in Japan. Although the meal was served in a private room we were never neglected when it comes to service. Food is delicate and delicious, and always prepared and presented in an enjoyable way.
