🇮🇹【Italy】Sforzesco Castle is set together with Milan Cathedral!
[Italy] Sforzesco Castle and Milan Cathedral go hand in hand!
●Sforzesco Castle●
There is a fountain in front of the entrance, and the tower standing in front of the entrance is called the "Tower of Philate". A corridor runs around this tower in a square, and there is a courtyard inside.
There are museums and art galleries inside Sforzesco Castle.
There is also an art museum that is free to enter.
You can walk from Sforzesco Castle to Piazza del Duomo and Milan Cathedral, so I recommend visiting them together.

MILAN’s CASTLE
The Visconti and Sforza families ruled Milan from 1277 to 1447 and 1450 to 1535, respectively. The Castello Sforzesco was built in 1368 and rebuilt in 1450. The 70-meter Torre de Filarete is a replica of the original gate-tower built in 1905.
The Sforza Castle (Castello Sforzesco) was erected as a castle in the fourteenth century and is one of Milan's most iconic landmarks. It currently contains one of the city's greatest museums.
The Musei del Castello Sforzesco, a collection of museums, includes one dedicated to sculpture. The Pietà Rondanini, Michelangelo's final masterwork, was transferred here from the Palazzo Rondanini in Rome in 1953.

Castello castle aka sforza castle
The Castello Sforzesco (Italian for "Sforza's Castle") is a medieval fortification located in Milan, northern Italy. It was built in the 15th century by Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan, on the remnants of a 14th-century fortification. Later renovated and enlarged, in the 16th and 17th centuries it was one of the largest citadels in Europe. Extensively rebuilt by Luca Beltrami in 1891–1905, it now houses several of the city's museums and art collections.

Castle Sftoza day tour Italy
Very similar to the castle in the movie, the architecture of Milan is not as splendid as Paris. It is relatively simple, but it has a sense of age, like a tram, retro classic, making the whole city more narrative.
This side is open for free. It is next to the park. There is a fountain in front of it. The area inside is very large. The exhibition is in progress. You can walk along the park all the way to the Peace Gate.

🚋 The transportation is very convenient, with a 24-hour pass available from vending machines for €7.6.
🗺️ Milan Cathedral → Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II & Statue → Sforza Castle → Sempione Park → Arch of Peace → San Siro Stadium → Chinatown → Milan CBD & Vertical Forest, this route is truly spectacular.
⛪️ The Milan Cathedral is astonishing, with its exquisite exterior and luxurious interior decorations, and the sound of the organ echoing inside, which is truly refreshing.
🏰 Sforza Castle is a place full of history, walking through it feels like traveling through time.
🌳 Sempione Park is a paradise for couples, with cute dogs that are just so healing!
⚽️ The San Siro Stadium was an unexpected delight, with a 100-meter graffiti wall right outside the subway exit, perfect for photos!
🍜 Chinatown is bustling with excitement, and the variety of delicious foods is mouth-watering.
🏙️ Lastly, Milan's CBD and Vertical Forest showcase the city's fashion and modern charm.
🏨 Regarding accommodation, the Smart Hotel Central is a good choice, conveniently located, and although the windows are a bit small, it's overall comfortable.
🎨 Although I didn't manage to book 'The Last Supper,' paying a cyber homage is also a nice option!
👋 Until next time, goodbye, Mila

Milan Sforzesco Castle
I went to Castello Sforzesco, a castle in Milan, Italy 🏰
It is the largest Renaissance building in Milan, and it is located in the city and also serves as a museum and park, so it is a recommended spot for leisurely sightseeing.
I took the subway from the Duomo,
but it is also possible to walk there in about 20 minutes.
You can feel a different atmosphere from the urban atmosphere of the Duomo.
The park is very large, and it is such a vast castle that it is very difficult to walk all the way.

Nice gardens in and around the castle
melocotown
Sforzesco Castle is in the heart of Milan, with an iconic square clock tower in the middle of the castle and a prototype turret at the corner. The periphery is a circle of trenches that are now covered by green, terrible lawns. Red bricks and beige plasters, the old Si family's house looks slightly broken bricks, but the size and momentum of the castle are not said. Through the doorway, there is an open square inside. There are many museums inside, most of which are arts and crafts. If you don't have deep cultural advice, don't go in. Look at the location is very good, the castle compound is free to enter.
