In Huangpu! I have discovered the most beautiful S-curved reservoir in Guangzhou.
🙆♂️Greetings! I am Yi Er, a lover of fun and adventure🤳. Dear friends, the pedestrian route in Guangzhou is truly delightful! It is adorned with a variety of picturesque S-shaped bends, verdant mountains, forests, grasslands, reservoirs, and quaint houses🌿. It's incredibly refreshing and therapeutic.
The Water Sound Reservoir circuit is approximately 5 kilometers long. It takes over an hour to complete a full round. The entire route is paved with asphalt, wide and flat, making it virtually effortless!
We started our journey from the hotel, encountering numerous S-shaped bends along the way, reminiscent of the animated world of Hayao Miyazaki. On the other side of the reservoir, there is a lakeside wooden plank road, offering a panoramic view of the lush mountains and clear waters.

The Shuisheng Reservoir loop is about 5 kilometers long, and it takes more than an hour to walk around. The whole path is paved with asphalt, spacious and flat, with virtually no difficulty!

Shuisheng Reservoir is part of the Changling National Mountain Fitness Trail System. It is actually a small lake, about 5 kilometers around the lake, and it takes about an hour to walk around. The trail is very well maintained, clean and tidy, with a few plank roads and mostly flat asphalt roads. Only work vehicles can pass, so it is basically a pedestrian path. If you just want to play around the lake, ordinary sports shoes are enough, no need to wear hiking shoes.
There are Huangpu Junlan Hotel, Huangpu International Conference Center, and Heming Residence (not open to the public) by the lake. The lake is calm and green, but only the dam near the Junlan Hotel can see the lake. The views of other lakeside trails are basically blocked by trees, and you can't go to the lake to play with water. It can be said that it is mainly a fitness trail, but along the way you can see the greenery of the forest, which is very pleasing to the eye, with few tourists, and it is very comfortable to play. But there are not many trees, pay attention to sun protection.
Note: Heming Residence is for leaders only, and there will be reception tasks from time to time. At this time, the reservoir is not allowed to enter by outsiders. It is recommended to call the hotel before going to ask if there is a reception task, otherwise it will be a wasted trip. I went on Sunday morning and just met the reception. Fortunately, it was quickly lifted, and outsiders could enter.
Transportation: Public transportation can take the Huangpu Tram Line 1 to Lingtoudong Station, and then walk about 20 minutes to the hotel. Self-driving can only park at the hotel, because the roads around the reservoir are relatively narrow and cannot park. The open-air parking spaces at the hotel entrance are free, but there are few parking spaces, so you need to be lucky. The underground parking lot is 10 yuan/hour, with a maximum of 60 yuan/day.
Dining: You can only dine at the hotel, there are Chinese restaurants and buffet restaurants, and the buffet restaurant may need to be reserved in advance on weekends. The map shows that there are farms by the lake, but there are actually none.
