Ever visit a Charcoal factory?
This factory is called My charcoal factory which is located in Kuala Sepetang. The guide has explained the process of making the charcoal which need to turn the mangrove wood into it. They put the wood into the kiln and burn it for a few days and the process take quite a long time. The charcoal is high quality and has export to Japan too. Other than charcoal, there also have different kind of products made by mangrove charcoal such as soap.

1. hair shampoo
- which is made with charcoal, so it's really good on detox and scalp cleaning.
2. Mangrove Vinegar
-good for bugs control, antibacterial, natural recover tiny injury.
3. Soap
good for cleaning, better skin detox
Beside the factory is a river which help them to deliver the mangrove wood to the factory by water.
You can learn some knowledge of mangrove tree and charcoal making. Recommended for family and kids to come on school holidays .

Getting There - About 30minutes drive from Taiping Lake Garden.
Attractions - Get a chance to observe and be amazed at the charcoal manufacturing industry in Kuala Sepetang. The whole process involving the mangrove’s wood selection to remove the water from the woods placed inside igloo-shaped kilns(made from clay) using high heat fire burning, next to cooling off stage and finally producing the end product-the charcoals. An interesting place to visit though😁.
