📚Jiuzhou Pool was built in the Sui Dynasty and used in the Tang and Song Dynasties. It is an important royal pool garden in the Ziwei City of the Sui and Tang Luoyang City Palace. It witnessed the exchanges between the empire and the Western Regions during the Tang Dynasty and carried the joys and sorrows of countless historical figures. As the imperial garden of Ziwei City, Jiuzhou Pool was mainly used as an imperial garden for the emperor, concubines, princesses, and princes to live and feast.
🏯In the entire Jiuzhou Pool site protection and display project, Yaoguang Hall is the central building. You can see it as soon as you enter the gate. It consists of three halls. 💗Other tips: ✨The main entrance of the scenic spot is designed and built in the style of a Tang-style Wutou Gate, using a pure wooden structure and the mortise and tenon joint technology of traditional Chinese architecture, which is very exquisite.
✨Walking along the central axis of the scenic spot, you can see the majestic Yaoguang Hall. Yaoguang Hall is a Tang-style Xieshan-top attic building with one main hall and two auxiliary halls.
✨Below Yaoguang Hall is Jiuzhou Pool, with many islands scattered around. In the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the water in Jiuzhou Pool was drawn from Gushui; after the reconstruction, the water in Jiuzhou Pool came from the "Yellow River Diversion to Luoyang" project.
During the May Day holiday, the scenic spot will also arrange many interactive activities. At that time, many intangible cultural heritage masters will be invited to perform tea art, Tang music, calligraphy and painting, archery, paper cutting, Tang Sancai, and other performances. Visitors can enjoy the interaction and participate in learning.
