Your guide in Dublin Ireland 🗺️

Dublin is a city that truly captures your heart with its mix of history, culture, and incredible atmosphere. 🍀 I started my day at the iconic Trinity College, home to the stunning Book of Kells. For about €16, you can view this medieval manuscript and explore the beautiful Long Room Library, which feels like stepping into a scene from *Harry Potter*. 📚 The atmosphere here is just magical, and it's a perfect way to dive into Ireland’s literary heritage.
Next up was the Guinness Storehouse, a must-visit even if you’re not a big beer drinker. For around €30, you can take a self-guided tour through seven floors of Guinness history, topped off with a pint at the Gravity Bar, which offers panoramic views of the city. 🍺 The tour is interactive, informative, and genuinely fun – it’s no wonder it's one of Dublin’s top attractions!
Strolling along the River Liffey, I made my way to Temple Bar, the vibrant cultural quarter known for its lively pubs and street performances. 🎶 The energy here is contagious, with traditional Irish music spilling out of every corner. Don’t miss the Temple Bar Pub itself, but be prepared – it's usually packed! A quick detour to Dublin Castle (€8) gave me a taste of Dublin’s medieval past, with its impressive State Apartments and the Chester Beatty Library’s incredible collection of manuscripts.
No visit to Dublin is complete without a walk through St. Stephen’s Green, a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. 🌳 Nearby Grafton Street is perfect for shopping and people-watching. My final stop was Kilmainham Gaol, a sobering but fascinating place that played a key role in Ireland’s history. Entry is €8, and the guided tour is well worth it.
Dublin is a city that feels like a conversation waiting to happen – every street, every building has a story to tell. #trip #DublinExplored #GuinnessStorehouse #TempleBarVibes #IrishHistory #TravelDublin

Dublin - Guinness Storehouse
Quite a nice experience into Dublin centre and visiting the Guinness Storehouse. The place is really popular that there are lots of tourists coming from different countries. It was a self-guided tour that I walked around and got to know different processes in beer making. There’s a tasting room where you get to smell different types of beer and a free tasting of the original Guinness beer.

🍻 Freshly produced Guinness straight from it's Storehouse! 🇮🇪
🇮🇪 When you travel to Dublin and you love beer, make sure the Guinness Storehouse is on your itinerary! 🍻
🚊 You can travel there with bus G1 from Dublin city centre.
Many people hated black beer, saying that it is too bitter and tastes bad - but it just isn't! 🥺 If you try the freshly produced beer from the factory itself during the guided tour, it just taste, so, good!!! 😍
Learning to make black beer from ground up in the guided tour, you'll see how Guinness gained its unique taste and color with its secret recipe! 😉 The ticket also includes a free drink on top of the storehouse, where you can see the panoramic view of Dublin! 📸
Mind you, you can order a Guinness apple cider at the bar, which is not sold outside of the factory! 😮
*⚠️⚠️ Please make sure you meet the age of 18 to be legal to drink any alcohol in Ireland*

Must-do attraction in Dublin
if you’re going to Dublin you absolutely cannot miss the Guinness Storehouse tour. Obviously Dublin is the home of the love it or hate it drink but whichever team you’re on, the storehouse is a great experience. Lots of history to see and you do of course get to sample a pint at the end of your tour.
When I visited there was also an opportunity to have your selfie printed onto the foam of the pint which was a really novel idea!#dublin

Dublin’s premier attraction
The Guinness Storehouse has to be Dublins best attraction and a must visit for anyone visiting Dublin. Full of interesting facts and a free pint at the end. Well worth a visit. Quite a walk from the centre though

2024 British Tour (10): Guinness Storehouse.
This storehouse, built in 2001, was designed to get rid of the old-fashioned image of Guinness beer and attract young people. It quickly became the most popular check-in spot in Dublin.
This is a large brewery area. The rows of factories are very historical. The walls are decorated with the Guinness logo, a harp. Because the main product is stout, the main color is black. The steel rails are a portrayal of the bustling production scene in the past. There are many carriages at the entrance of the factory area for tourists to visit the old factory area.
The Guinness Storehouse is a 7-story factory building. As soon as you enter, there is an escalator like a time tunnel, leading you into a mysterious space.
Different from the old buildings outside, the interior decoration is mainly glass and steel structures. The crisscross space always gives me a feeling of entering the interstellar center of a science fiction film. That space will tell the past and present of Guinness Stout.
In the hall on the 1st floor, there is a souvenir shop on one side, and a round glass on the ground in the center. The paper below is the most famous 9000-year lease contract.
Going up layer by layer, the building tells the brewing process of Guinness Stout. Guinness Stout is brewed from four ingredients: barley, hops, water, and yeast. This is no different from other beers, but Guinness Stout brewed with 232-degree high-temperature roasted barley has a characteristic dark color and unique taste.
You must not miss the Gravity Bar on the top floor. Here you can get a beer with your ticket. It can be traditional stout or new beer. With two tickets for my companion, I will have a black beer and a yellow beer.
Holding a beer and watching the foam gushing from the middle of the cup to the mouth of the cup, and then sinking along the wall of the cup, it's really interesting!
Take a sip of the foam, the bitter taste is sweet, the wine seems to be strong, or drink slowly...
There are many people in the Gravity Bar, many people just stand there, chatting and drinking. Finally found a seat, you can relax and drink while watching the scenery, a rare leisure moment.

The brewery in Dublin, Ireland, was originally 'Guinness'
The Guinness beer from Dublin, Ireland, shares its name with the famous Guinness World Records. It is said that a director of the Guinness brewery conceived the idea of publishing a book of world records during a hunting trip, and named it after the beer brand Guinness, which later became the influential Guinness World Records.
Moreover, this brewery in Dublin also has a beer museum, which is one of the very famous attractions in Dublin. If you are traveling to Dublin, Ireland, be sure to set aside half a day to visit the Guinness Beer Museum.
🏢 Museum: Guinness Storehouse
🎫 Tickets: Adults 32 euros, Students 23 euros
The beer museum is very popular during the summer, so it is best to book a few days in advance. The museum offers explanations in various languages, including Chinese, which is very helpful for understanding the relevant information.
The museum is quite large, with seven floors to explore, and it takes about 3 hours to visit. In the museum, you can not only learn about the history of Guinness's development but also gain some knowledge about beer brewing. The observation deck on the top floor allows you to enjoy the scenery while sipping on a beer.
The museum ticket includes a complimentary beer or soft drink, which can be redeemed at the top-floor observation deck. However, individuals under the age of 18 are not allowed to drink alcohol, so it's best to bring personal ID for staff verification.

Visiting the Guinness factory in Dublin City
Perfect little city break visiting a friend. We booked the Guinness factory for my second day and despite us both not loving Guinness we did love the factory and the Guinness that was on offer there. I do believe it’s true they say Guinness tastes different in Dublin and that’s because it is brewed there.
It was very interesting to walk around the factory. We went into a free guided tasting session.
We then also visited the top floor to Gravity bar where you’re offered a free drink when you purchase your ticket, this can be a choice of a few drinks but obviously most people opt for a Guinness, as did we.
Highly recommend! #localguides #falltrip #dublin #guinnessstorehouse #guinness

I have just finished an amazing visit to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin. 🍺Admission fee was €25 - on the high side, but given how immersive and with a free pint thrown in at that – definitely value for money. #GuinnessStorehouse #DublinBrew
Seven floors take you on a trip through the procedure of making beer, Dublin’s history and how to pour that perfect pint. 🏭🍻 The Gravity bar at the top provides great views of Dublin city- a perfect setting to have your free Guinness. 🌆
The atmosphere is energetic, especially in the Gravity Bar. With music, laughter and the smell of newly poured Guinness can make it an 🎶😄
Wander around lively St James's Gate after the visit. There is a great night life of cool pubs and restaurants – ideal for after-Guinness meal. There are also local spirits from Irish Whiskey Museum nearby; this can make a perfect follow-up. 🥃
The quaint Guinness-themed gift shop is a treasure trove of souvenirs – ranging from funny pint glasses to clothes, there’s something for everyone. In turn, the friendly staff contributed to making the whole visit warmer. 🤗
