#mysgmemories #tripblazers I love the merlion Mascot that was placed at the Far east plaza basement area. Apart from both the white and red merlion that are stationed at both ends of the mall, there are a stretch of paintings that depict the past memories of Singapore. I especially love the white merlion as some of the Singapore landmarks such as the marina bay sands hotel and the espslande icon were also reflected on the white merlion. This is the first time I have seen such a creative merlion mascot. I hope to discover a more unique merlion.

Address: Kra pow Thai Restaurant, 14 Scotts Rd, #03-26/27, Singapore 228217 Price: $15/pp Far East Plaza is filled with many gems - from nails saloon, to second hand branded watches and lots of affordable and delicious food. I was looking for a place to eat after my facial and I smelled the delicious yet spicy scent coming from this restaurant. I had to give it a try! The place was rather empty but the takeout counter was rather busy. The shop was run by Thais so my expectation for the place was really high and they did not disappoint! We ordered: 1. Mince Chicken Drunken Noodle - 9/10 It was very very spicy and tasted very delicious. It was well balanced in flavours and texture but the only downside was the noodle is a little too soft to my liking. 2. Seafood Pad Thai - 9/10 Again the dish had a really great flavour profile but it was such a shame that the noodle was overcooked. Overall the food here is really good, the staffs were very friendly and the service is fast. I would give the drunken noodle a try if you're up for a spicy challenge! #singapore

But in fact there is a hidden Art Gallery at Far East Plaza .They have converted quite a number of shops on the first floor into art galleries.” Different galleries were displaying artwork of different genres, from photography to contemporary art. #staycation Far East Plaza New Station Snack Bar Address: Far East Plaza 14 Scotts Road #05-95 Singapore, 228213 Having a snack bar as part of its name just sounds so weird because they serve very yummy local cooked food and there is always a long queue. Far East Plaza is a great place for food when you are having a staycation at Royal Plaza on Scotts, Yotel Singapore and Grand Hyatt. This new station snack bar is on level 5 so you can take the lift located outside Far East Plaza and arrive here directly. Their famous dish is salted egg yolk pork ribs and it is very delicious. You can order it together with rice or as a single dish. If you are ordering takeaway, pls ask for them to pack the sauce separately. There are also many other eateries and you can always see long queues.

Price per Person - $10-30/pax Rating - This Thai Chinese casual eatery is situated at level 5 Far East plaza Sg. They have alot of ala carte dishes and we ordered 2 of their value set meals each with 1 x whole fish dish, 1 X soup, 1 x mushroom. Super value at $29.80 each set. All dishes able to cook in different sauces and cooking styles hence we were able to enjoy different flavours of despite same dishes and chef did all of them so well! Ingrdedients were fresh, well flavoured and value pricepoint especially considering it's situated at orchard upscale shopping area. Definitely worth a visit/re-visit when in the vinicity it's so worth!

When speaking about art gallery in Singapore usually people will be thinking of arts museum or national museums etc. Today I came across a mini arts gallery at Orchard Road Far East Plaza. It’s located at basement 1 and it has a showcase of afew arts masterpieces to view for free ! At this level other than art pieces, there are afew cafes around to explore as well ! #singapore newly open dessert place at Far East Plaza, located just outside facing main road. Ice Lab is originally from Korea which serve some korean food and dessert.They are more famous with bingsoo. Its portion of bingsoo is very huge and sweet. Sadly, they don't use real fruits. The sweetness taste like a bit artificial. Its refreshing during summer time! Sourness come from the yogurt. Sweet and sour well balanced. Worth to spend on? Yes, if you have someone to share with! I came here with my girl friend and I love the ambiance, not so crowded and they also play korean song! Make you feel like you are in Korea. #foodie #dessert #icecream
