Just 15 minutes south of San Francisco, you can reach the coastal town of Pacifica. It is a quiet town with magnificent cliffs, beaches and rolling hills along a 6-mile coastline. There are not many tourists here, but the coastline is no less beautiful than any beach in the San Francisco Bay Area! Pacifica is a beautiful coastal town in San Mateo County, California, about 15 minutes' drive from San Francisco. It stretches along a 6-mile coastline with magnificent cliffs, beaches and rolling hills. In recent years, many whale watchers often gather at the pier and trails, exchanging information about the appearance of whales through social networking sites. You can see whales spraying water and even jumping out of the water on the shore, which is really a special experience. How about getting your binoculars ready? A man and wife played the part of the original owners in costume and told the history beautifully with the help of other staff members who were all very kind, enthusiastic and passionate about the history of the castle and the families that owned it as well as the city of Pacifica itself. My wife and I recommend it highly.

#dayatthebeach A city favorite, Rockaway Beach is accessible via subway, making it an ideal getaway for New Yorkers. This beach has a five-mile boardwalk, surf-friendly waves, volleyball courts, and nearby eateries. Its skate park, playgrounds, and picnic areas add to the beach’s lively atmosphere, offering a great urban beach day experience.

One of my favorite beaches in the Bay Area. Great hiking trails. Beautiful scenery. Parking is a little difficult here, best to get there before 10am. Stroll along the beach and enjoy the calming sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Highway 92, which most tourists from the Peninsula area use, can get crowded and bad at times, but early morning is always the best option to hit the road.
