#NovemberTravelGrant A day spent on Australia's Gold Coast was truly healing. From morning to night, I spent a relaxing and comfortable time surrounded by nature. First, I stopped by the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and had the opportunity to see koalas in person. The sight of these tiny koalas sleeping in the trees was truly adorable! Taking photos up close, even with a koala, made for a special memory. Seeing other Australian animals and being so close to them in nature was truly precious. Next, we headed to a nearby beach for fish and chips and draft beer. Enjoying fish and chips and a cold draft beer while feeling the fresh ocean breeze at a cafe. Could there be a more perfect combination? Sitting leisurely with the ocean view, all my stress melted away. It was the perfect moment to just relax and let the sun set on the beach! Afterwards, I took a walk along the beach, enjoying the beautiful Gold Coast ocean, and simply relaxing while listening to the sound of the waves. I could lose myself in thought while gazing at the ocean, or simply close my eyes and fully experience nature. My day on the Gold Coast was filled with encounters with koalas, fish and chips and beer on the beach, and a perfect moment of healing by the sea. It was a truly relaxing and peaceful day, and I highly recommend this destination to anyone who needs this kind of time.
