Bryggen comercial Buildings
Bryggen, also known as Tyskebryggen, is a series of Hanseatic heritage commercial buildings lining up the eastern side of the Vågen harbour in the city of Bergen, Norway. Bryggen has been on the UNESCO list for World Cultural Heritage sites since 1979. The city of Bergen was founded around 1070 within the boundaries of Tyskebryggen. Around 1350 a Kontor of the Hanseatic League was established there, and Tyskebryggen became the centre of the Hanseatic commercial activities in Norway. Today, Bryggen houses museums, shops, restaurants and pubs. Bergen was established before 1070 AD. In the Middle Ages, the Bryggen area encompassed all buildings between the sea and the Stretet (Øvregaten) road, from Holmen in the north to Vågsbunnen in the south. According to the Sagas, the city was founded within this area. #familytravel

Trolltunga Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Trolltunga
Trolltunga is a rock formation situated about 1,100 metres above sea level in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The cliff juts horizontally out from the mountain, about 700 metres above the north side of the lake Ringedalsvatnet. Popularity of the hike to Trolltunga and rock formation itself has exploded in recent years. The increased popularity has turned Trolltunga into a national icon and a major tourist attraction for the region. Until 2010, fewer than 800 people hiked to Trolltunga each year. In 2016 more than 80,000 people hiked the 27-kilometre (17 mi) round-trip from the village of Skjeggedal, making it one of Norway's most popular hikes. #hiking

Beautiful scenery at the Trolltungga 2023
#2024wish
The Trolltungga hike is one of the absolute highlights in Norway, the beautiful scenery is really amazing and impressive when you see it yourself.
Get ready some comfort wear and warm clothes as you required to hike to reach the scenic view point. And also warm clothes as the weather is really cold. This is definitely a tour that must be included in your itinerary.
In 2024, I wish to visit United States 🇺🇸 to experience different kind of adventure .

Mount Floyen and the Funicular Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Norway Europe
Tourist attraction: Bergen, Europe
Attraction introduction: Norway is full of fairy-tale-like miniatures. I personally feel that small towns are more charming than bustling big cities. If you have a day in Bergen, you must leave it to Mount Fløyen! Although everyone will take the cable car to watch the sunset, strolling slowly on the mountain makes people feel worthwhile, with a dreamy forest and a lake like an oil painting Daily

Fishmarket in Bergen Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Bergen, Norway | A colorful fairy tale town in winter
Bergen, Norway, a small town seemingly sprinkled with vibrant colors by God, leaves a deep impression. From the colorful wooden houses of Bryggen to the seafood feast, and the musical atmosphere of the Edvard Grieg Museum, every place is refreshing.
✨ Morning Magic: The colorful wooden houses of Bryggen
The first ray of morning sun shines on the colorful wooden houses of Bryggen, as if time stands still. These houses seem to be buildings from fairy tales, each window and door tells a story of history. I found a souvenir shop here, the goods there are really unique.
✨ Noon Carnival: Seafood feast at Fisketorget Fish Market
For foodies, Fisketorget Fish Market is undoubtedly a paradise. Fresh fish, shrimp, crab, each one is mouth-watering. Here, I tasted the local seafood dishes, each bite is a carnival of taste buds. 😋
✨ Afternoon Melody: Musical experience at the Edvard Grieg Museum
In the afternoon, I came to the Edvard Grieg Museum, which is full of music. After enjoying a seafood feast, listening to a melodious concert is just right. 🎶
✨ Romantic Dusk: Panoramic tour on the Fløibanen funicular
When the afterglow of the sunset shines on every corner of Bergen, I took the Fløibanen funicular. In just 6 minutes, I seemed to have seen the beauty of the entire city, every corner is like a painting. 🌅
✨ Comfort under the night: A drink at the rooftop bar
At night, I chose to spend at the Taket bar. This bar located on the top floor of the Zachariasbryggen building is really a perfect viewing point. The 360-degree view made me feel the beauty of Bergen's night view. A glass of wine in hand, Bergen under the night is more comfortable. 🍷
✨ Rainy walk: Bergen's misty rain 🌧️
Despite being winter, it often rains in Bergen, but this does not reduce my love for this city. Bergen in the rain is more peaceful and beautiful, every street corner has a different story.
Bergen, Norway gave me an unforgettable travel experience. Every corner here is full of stories and charm. If you also want to find a place away from the hustle and bustle, it is definitely worth a visit! 🎻🌊
Seafood in Fishmarket Bergen
#2024wish
Ever since I have planned my trip to Bergen Norway, one of the places that I looked forward to was the Fishmarket. Thus, when I was there, I was so excited. The reason was that I can get to eat delicious seafood. I ordered the fish and it was so fresh and very tasty. I am craving for the dish now as I am typing.
In 2024, I hope to try other food in other countries.
Our last stop on the Norway trip was Bergen, the second largest city in Norway. Many of the fjords near Bergen are also very beautiful.
silas_atticuswinterbourne Bergen Fish Market, a double feast of sight and taste
Whether during the Viking or Hanseatic League, Norwegian quality seafood is transported from Bergen to the rest of the world, not only for the locals Food is a link between fisheries in European countries. So come to Bergen, naturally go to see the fish market. It was on the other side of the Bryggen Wharf and walked into the gate as if it had entered another world - it was so lively. In the fish market, large pieces of salmon, arctic shrimp, lobster, king crab, squid and other seafood are not frozen, fresh and attractive! And all the products are presented in a row. When the whole big counter is filled with fresh seafood, it is really a great visual shock! Here, all the seafood can be cooked to order. Everyone is crammed into a small table and chairs, and it is very good for the stalls. The price will be more expensive than the supermarket, but it is still within the acceptable range. If you just want to feel the atmosphere of the fish market, it is also very good to try it.
Bergen Port Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Bergen City Roaming: Fresh Fish Market and Bryggen Harbor!
► The bustling fish market starts early in the morning
▪ This seafood market, set up on an open space a hundred meters away from the dock, sees vendors stocking up as early as 5 am. It is said that sometimes the seafood in supermarkets is much cheaper than here, but locals still like to gather at the fish market for a chat.
▪ The city government also has a regulation that fish market tenants must ensure they operate here for 280 to 300 days a year, which has become a scenic spot in the city, especially for tourists like us who come from afar. It's quite interesting to take a tour.
► A paradise for seafood lovers, except for the price
▪︎ If you want to buy some seafood at the market, you can ask the shop owner to process it for you, try the authentic salt-boiled prawns, smoked salmon sandwiches, and other delicacies, or you can also buy vacuum-packed seafood products directly here.
▪︎ We originally wanted to find those 20 kroner crabs to steam and eat at home, but in recent years, as seafood prices have soared, the high cost-performance seafood has long gone, like this crab priced at 999 kroner per kilogram!
► Surrounding Tours
At the junction of Bryggen and the fish market, there is the highest hill in Bergen city, Mount Floyen, Floyen. Taking the Floyen funicular to the top, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the port and also see the mascot of Bergen city, the little mountain troll. However, keep in mind that it rains 2/3 of the year in Bergen, so whether you can see the whole cityscape is a matter of luck!
► Recommended tour time: 1 hour
► Transportation: On foot

The Norwegian fjord city Bergen!
The Norwegian fjord city Bergen. Look, Bergen is sunny, which is worth celebrating. The residents here live a life by the mountains and the water, which should be quite comfortable. However, the summer in Norway is really not long, and the sunny days are even fewer, so the houses here are red tiles and white walls, yellow walls and green tiles, all kinds of colors, just to resist the days without sunshine. Although Norwegians are socially anxious, their enthusiasm is reflected in their architecture.
