Xining Travel - Ta'er Monastery, a Sacred Place of Tibetan Buddhism

📖 Located 20 kilometers away from downtown Xining, Ta'er Monastery is one of the must-visit attractions in Xining. It is a sacred place of Tibetan Buddhism and one of the six major monasteries of the Gelug school. In Tibetan, Ta'er Monastery is called 'Gumbum Jampaling', which means 'The Hundred Thousand Lions Roar, the Maitreya Continent'. ❤️ For someone like me who has never been to Tibet, this was the first time I was deeply moved by the devoutness of the people. ❤️ Inside the temple, monks were chanting scriptures, their voices very serene, which also made the visitors feel more at peace. ❤️ The cats and dogs in the monastery were leisurely basking in the afternoon sun. 👣 Tour Route Dharmapala Hall - Longevity Hall - Great Scripture Hall - Kalachakra College - Butter Sculpture Gallery - Sutra Tower Manjushri Bodhisattva Hall - Esoteric Buddhism College - Vajra Varahi Mandala - Tara Hall 🌟 Tips: 1. Exchange the electronic ticket for a paper ticket at the ticket center before entering the scenic area. 2. Follow the route in a clockwise direction during the visit. 3.
