VIGAN

This is one of our Backpack Travelling series. We left Baguio at 12midnight and rode a bus bound to La Union. From La Union, we rode another bus to Vigan. We arrived Vigan around 6 in the morning. From the drop off point of the bus, we rode a motorcycle to CALLE CRISOLOGO---one of the UNESCO world heritage for preserving the past. Surprisingly, Mcdo, Mang Inasal and other fastfoods had a look of the past---with windows made up of shells and walls that are wooden. We took a walk on the said Calle until we came across with the Calesa. We paid for 350pesos for a ride and it toured us to Zamora's old house, to the Belltower and lastly to the Hidden Garden where we took our sumptuous breakfast. Vigan is known for their Empanada and so we did not waste any moment to try it.
