Art Installation| Neon-like mirrors

Art Installation| Neon-like mirrors Artist|Phillip K. Smith III Location|United States Time|2014 Picture|Lance Gerber Reflection Field At the 2014 Coachella Music Festival, American artist Phillip K Smith III created a dazzling light art installation called Reflection Field. Reflection Field is a huge installation, consisting of five independent lights and mirrors, measuring up to 18 feet high and 17 feet wide. The diameter of this installation is 100 feet, spanning across the vast plains, reflecting the surrounding trees and landscape during the day. At night, they transform into a vast color field, through the echoes of reflection mixing and layering, the space becomes both infinite and finite, while the tones push and pull, saturating and dissolving the surrounding environment and periphery into pure color. Phillip K. Smith, III creates seemingly simple objects of contemplation, transformation, and interaction through the creation of color, light, space, and form.
