Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden

#cherryblossom2024 What a beautiful park! Everything are well maintained and beautiful: the trees, the ponds, the old houses (for example the Taiwan pavilion). The park is even more charming during the cherry blossom season. However, there are much more visitors during that time as well. The park is huge. There are 3 areas with different landscapes. Depending where you arrive, the gate can be very crowded, with Shinjuku gate being the most crowded. The good thing is that the line moves fast. Once approaching the ticket office, you can use your suica or passmo card to pay the visit instead of queueing for the ticket purchase. Make sure that you have at least 500¥ in the balance of the suica/passmo card (250¥ if you are a student)
