A taste of seasonal seafood at Sushimaru

#CherryBlossom2024 In Japan, spring is experienced not only through cherry blossom viewings but also through the taste of fresh food during that season. While raw fish is the most famous delicacy in Japan, we have decided to have our meal in a highly recommended local Sashimi restaurant at Shinjuku called Sushimaru. We ordered the sashimi platter, seasonal sushi platters and fried puffer fish, and guess what, the freshness of the seafood literally spreads throughout your entire mouth and you get to experience different kinds of seafood such as tuna, snapper, bream, pollacks, shrimps etc. The meal is also best paired with local sake. It is indeed a one of a kind experience in Tokyo and I will definitely come again.
