Taiyuan Ancient City

Located 3 kilometers northeast of Jinci, it is the site of the old county city of Ming Taiyuan. Riding on the east wind of the real estate economy, the ancient Taiyuan county city has been rebuilt on the original site. The city walls are tall and majestic, and the city towers are so high that they seem to pluck the stars from the sky. A moat has also been dug around the city. The flag tower in the center of the city is the tallest building, with its beams and paintings shining brightly. To the east of the flag tower, the Jinyuan Confucian Temple is the only remaining ancient structure from the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is a north-facing, south-facing courtyard with five entrances and three courtyards. Along the central axis, from north to south, there are the screen wall, Lingxing Gate, Pan Pool and Pan Bridge, Sacrificial Hall, Dacheng Hall, Minglun Hall, Jingyi Pavilion, and Zunjing Pavilion, etc. Although it is the weekend, there are few visitors, and most shops are closed.
