Eastern District of Taipei City - Shaanxi Qin Flavor Restaurant.

Located in the alleys around Yanji Street No. 216 in the Eastern District, this restaurant has been open for many years. I've never had the chance to taste its flavors until now. Let me start by saying that friends who don't eat spicy food might find this place slightly unsuitable, but there are still options available. First, I recommend trying the restaurant's steamed buns. If it's your first visit, you must give it a try. They will first give you a piece of bun to tear into small pieces. Then, based on the flavor you order, the staff will cook it into a bowl of noodle-like food that's somewhat similar to gnocchi but chewier. This time I ordered lamb, which had a very strong and fragrant flavor, almost making me want to turn it into a lamb hotpot. The spicy pork with Korean kimchi is not very spicy and is very delicious, a great accompaniment to rice. The oil-splashed noodles have a hint of freshness, and the belt noodles used are also very fragrant. The grilled lamb skewers are amazing too; the lamb taste is not too strong, nor is it too greasy, and most importantly, they are very tender and delicious. Lastly, dessert is a must-have 👍 Since there were only two of us dining, we could order only a few items. I really wanted to try the hotpot and some dishes that require reservation. Looking forward to the next visit – I suggest making a reservation in advance.
