He often drank and sang with famous scholars and held elegant banquets. He also wrote a book called Miscellaneous Writings of the Mountain Garden. Of course, the beautiful scenery of Yanshan Garden is also inseparable from its success. In those days, Wang Shizhen spent all his money to build mountains and draw water. After more than ten years, he finally completed Yanshan Garden. The Ink Pavilion in the garden is the most worth seeing. It contains Zhao Mengfu's handwriting, such as the stone carvings of "Farewell to Li Yuan's Return to Pangu Preface" and "Return to the Past." Su Shi wrote the "Ink Pavilion Record."
